Have you heard of Area 51? If you have, the first thought that might come to mind is UFO’s and Aliens. These are conspiracy theories, but are they really conspiracies? The badly kept secret of the existence of Area 51 has fueled the fire in the imaginations of conspiracy theorists and UFO hunters. “No other base on earth has so captured the publics imagination,” says Michael Braverman. The question here is does America have a secret base for captured UFO’s? I believe they do because the U.S. government doesn’t have any solid facts that they don’t.

According to the U.S. government, Area 51 is just a testing facility for aircraft and other unmanned “research” projects (Michael, 2013). The U.S. government has provided minimal information. Many times the mentions of Area 51 are improved in documents that are declassified. Area 51 is the most famous military installation in the world yet it doesn’t officially exist (natgeotv.com.au). Although the U.S. government says these things, eyewitnesses beg to differ.

These eyewitnesses have other stories and theories about what might be going on in Area 51. Some people believe the government studies time travel at Area 51 also known as Groom Lake or Dreamland. In an article by Michael Braverman called Penetrating the Secrets of Area 51, there was a story about a man named Chuck Clark. One day a man named Chuck Clark who was intrigued with local rumors of Area 51, was walking by the area when he stumbled upon what he later dug up and found out to be highly sensitive ground sensors. Although he never took one, his house was ransacked and all his belongings taken. Chuck ended up moving from Nevada. That got me thinking, what doesn’t the government want us to know about Area 51?

It is generally believed that Area 51 is hiding aliens or UFO’s. Most people think that government scientists reverse-engineer the aliens highly advanced technology. Let me begin with the fact that on March 13, 1997, thousands of people in the Phoenix area saw a huge triangular shape outlined by bright lights, moving slowly in the night sky, even the governor of Arizona saw (Michael, 2013). These strange lights led thousands of people into UFO hysteria.

In conclusion, although the government just says that Area 51 is a testing facility, eyewitnesses claim that there are aliens and UFO’s. I believe that the government is trying to hide something bigger. Maybe they have kidnapped an alien. Is that why they’re making such a big effort to keep the base hidden? Is the government developing a secret spy plane? Among the barren expanse, jackrabbits and shrubland, does America have a secret base for captured UFO’s?
